Just tried Companeros for the first time after being rebuilt from a fire. The food was great just as before. The restaurant looks very nice. It's more open, still plays the Mexican music and the service was great. Very authentic. We would recommend highly.
Would never go back again! I have been to Mexico many times and this is not even close to authentic. I ordered a Fajita burrito. When it came it had 4 pieces of green pepper in it and about six pieces of onion. The chicken and vegetables were not cooked like a Fajita in any sort of way. They asked if I wanted guacamole and sour cream but it was extra! Also no refills on pop! The salsa tasted like a taco sauce not Salsa. Worst Mexican food I have ever eaten.
Absolutely perfect.. service was amazing, thank you Nikki.. food, let's just say best Mexican I've had in a very long time.. Martin is a superb chef and knows how to serve his guests.. you must visit this restaurant, especially if vacationing in the area... Bravo!!
You need to try this place! The bar tender, Nicki, was phenomenal-very accommodating, friendly, and attentive. They were out of black bean burgers, so Chef Martin created an unforgettable scratch-made black bean burger that really should be added to their menu. I'd name it "the happy burger!"
